THINGS TO Do
We have several meals planned for you, but here are a few other recommendations if your are looking for something local.
Caroline's Seaside Cafe - Link
Caroline’s Seaside Café by Giuseppe is located on the UCSD Scripps Institution of Oceanography campus in the Seaside Forum. Serving healthy and creative California style cuisine daily, Caroline’s menu focuses on organic and sustainable sources, hormone-free meats and poultry.
Top Burgers in San Diego - Link
There are quite a few places around town to grab a tasty burger. See the article linked above for such favorites as Hodad's and at the Torrey Pines Lodge. We would also add In-N-Out, Shake Shack, and Rocky's (21 and up) to this list.
Fish Tacos - Link
It all started here. This is an older list, but it does not disappoint. Oscar's has a location in PB, just south of La Jolla. Another location near the Torrey Pines Hotel is Roberto's on Carmel Valley Road.
Take a tour of San Diego's food scene with Andrew Zimmern.
